Simulated On-Site Survey

Assess your current organizational practices against HSO standards and prepare your staff for tracers so they’ll know what to expect.

Assessing current organizational practices within your organization

Led by an Expert Faculty member who is an experienced Accreditation Canada surveyor, mock tracers are conducted at various levels of the organization, including leadership, management and point of care, to see how processes, systems and important areas relevant to the organization perform against a set of standards or priority areas pre-selected by you.

The Expert Faculty member will identify strengths and opportunities for improvement and present their findings in a one-hour debriefing session. Health service providers can also choose to receive a report with an overview of its performance and additional insight about the accreditation process, quality improvement, and safety. The report will contain recommendations and suggestions that will help you achieve your quality improvement objectives.

Who is it for?

The Simulated On-Site Survey is intended for health service providers, from all sectors, who want to assess current organizational practices against HSO’s globally recognized standards.
