AC’s New Regional Director, Quebec and Atlantic Region: Nelea Lungu

We are excited to welcome Nelea Lungu to the Canadian Accreditation team as Regional Director, Quebec and Atlantic Region, effective Nov. 19, 2018.
Lungu brings a diverse background to AC, having years of experience as an economist and nurse. She has also led the strategic development of various organizations.
She notes that AC’s reputation for quality improvement is what drew her towards the organization.
“Accreditation Canada’s reputation inspires me,” Lungu says. “I’m always looking at how things can be improved. The continuous improvement of quality is my focus.”
In her new role, Lungu says she is looking forward to developing new opportunities for AC in Quebec.
“I want to develop the market and expand a culture of continuous quality improvement,” Lungu says. “I want to create new opportunities for the Quebec Health Network and for Accreditation Canada.”
Nelea holds two Master’s Degrees, one in Nursing and one in Public Administration. Her passion for health and well-being however also extends to her personal life as in her spare time, she enjoys cooking and going on scenic hikes.
