Meet Aurore, Client Engagement Lead
I moved from Paris, France to Quebec, Canada with my family back in 2011. I had experience as an Occupational Therapist and then chose to complete a Masters in Healthcare Administration after moving here. I started working as a Quality & Risk Management Advisor, most recently with the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) prior to joining HSO/Accreditation Canada. This position required me to collaborate with Accreditation Canada and help teams within the hospital understand the standards, how to apply them and ultimately receive accreditation.
It was this knowledge and experience that made me realize I’d be a great fit as a Client Engagement Lead. Those that I collaborated with are now my colleagues, and we work great together. I’m also able to use my connections in the Quebec Healthcare field to help overcome our challenges in this market. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but it’s our bold ambition that motivates me and what I enjoy the most about working here.The work is interesting, and everyone wants to achieve something. It’s really passion driven!
And the accreditation process is evolving. We have to co-create it with our clients to provide what’s best for them and their patients. That’s what matters most. Not only having a model that works with their system, but one that allows them to provide healthcare with quality and security.
